Pharmacist - Groveton, New Hampshire

A dedicated inpatient pharmacist position is available at a hospital in Berlin, NH, offering a crucial role in supporting multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency. This contract role demands a strong, independent professional presence, especially during weekend shifts, within a rural setting.

Location: Berlin, NH
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Shift times: 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
• Rotating weekends every third weekend
• Weekend shifts: Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient pharmacy operations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Support critical hospital departments including ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency.
• Work independently during weekend shifts to provide uninterrupted pharmaceutical care.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, preferably Meditech; knowledge of Omnicell is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of pharmacy experience, with previous hospital experience strongly required.
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously, particularly during weekend coverage.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
