Pharmacist in Groveton, NH

Support inpatient pharmacy operations at a critical access hospital serving a rural community. This contract role requires an experienced pharmacist to manage medication use across various hospital departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical units, and the Emergency Department.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
• Rotating weekends every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently verify and dispense medications to inpatient units
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and ED settings
• Manage pharmacy operations during weekend shifts without onsite support
• Utilize Meditech electronic health records; familiarity with Omnicell systems is a plus

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
• Prior exposure to a Critical Access Hospital environment strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and handle weekend shifts confidently
• Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility to qualify
• Previous experience with rural hospital settings advantageous
