Pharmacist in Groveton, NH

A hospital in Berlin, NH is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a rural healthcare setting. This contract opportunity requires dedication to supporting multiple hospital departments, including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing medication therapy plans for inpatient care units
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Dispensing medications accurately and securely in compliance with hospital protocols
• Covering weekend shifts independently, ensuring continuity of pharmacy services
• Utilizing Meditech software for pharmacy operations; familiarity with Omnicell is beneficial

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of pharmacy experience with a strong background in hospital pharmacy
• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work autonomously, especially during rotating weekend shifts
• Proficiency with Meditech pharmacy systems preferred; Omnicell experience is a plus
• Permanent residence located at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekends every third weekend
• Weekend shifts: Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
