Pharmacist - Hamilton, OH

A healthcare facility in Hamilton, OH is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract with potential for extension. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in hospital pharmacy operations, particularly in an academic hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and oversee sterile compounding processes
• Check sterile products, medication dosages, and Pyxis inventory
• Provide consults and answer clinical questions from patients and healthcare providers
• Manage IV room operations, including Ecmo and CRRT support
• Assist with antibiotic dosing and other specialized clinical pharmacy services
• Participate in training during day shifts prior to transitioning to evening shifts

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio pharmacist license is mandatory
• Minimum of 3 years’ hospital pharmacy experience in a large academic hospital
• Proficiency with Epic pharmacy systems
• Experience with sterile compounding oversight, order verification, and clinical consults
• Familiarity with critical care pharmacy services including Ecmo and CRRT

Schedule:

• Evening shifts available: either 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts
• Initial training during day shift hours
