A well-established 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support their inpatient pharmacy operations. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise in order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians, and pharmacokinetics will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians regarding patient medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics monitoring and dosing adjustments
• Utilize electronic systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and clinical therapeutics
• Proficient with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams

Schedule & Location:

• Based in the York/Hanover, PA area
• Variable days and afternoon shifts to accommodate department needs
• Immediate start preferred for a 13+ week assignment
