A 500-bed hospital in York, PA is seeking a Pharmacist for an immediate start. This contract role spans 13 weeks or more, featuring a variable schedule with day and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Order verification and ensuring accurate medication dispensing
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Collaborating with physicians to optimize patient medication plans
• Applying pharmacokinetic principles to support patient care
• Utilizing IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment
