Pharmacist in Harrisburg, PA

A permanent Pharmacist position is available at a licensed pharmacy facility supporting prescription fulfillment and product distribution within the veterinary supply chain. This role operates in a warehouse-style environment, serving veterinary clinics and producers, with standard weekday hours and no weekend shifts.

Location: Elizabethtown, PA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekends required
• Some peak-season overtime expected

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications in compliance with professional, facility, state, and federal standards
• Perform medication reconciliation to ensure seamless care transitions
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical care focused on patient needs
• Consult with veterinary clients on medication usage, dosage, potential interactions, and special requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
• Willingness and ability to obtain 10-12 additional state licenses within six months (licensing costs covered by the employer; candidate responsible for paperwork and exams)
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and dispensing procedures
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
• Prior pharmacy experience, particularly in veterinary or distribution environments, is preferred

This direct hire opportunity offers competitive compensation with an hourly rate between $64-$67 and eligibility for a 5% annual bonus incentive.
