A reputable 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support their inpatient pharmacy team. This contract opportunity is based in York, PA, with an ASAP start for a duration of approximately 13 weeks. The position offers a variable day and afternoon schedule, providing some flexibility.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians on medication management, and applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient care. The role requires proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems, ensuring efficient and accurate pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to manage and supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
