Pharmacist in Harrisburg, PA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 160-bed community hospital as a travel pharmacist in Lebanon, PA. This 13+ week contract position offers a dynamic role within a collaborative healthcare setting where patient care and medication management are prioritized.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders promptly and accurately
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations to tailor medication regimens
• Support safe handling and dispensing of chemotherapy agents (preferred)

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, especially in community hospital settings
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system and Pyxis automation
• Exposure to chemotherapy practices is highly desirable
