A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 160-bed community hospital located in Lebanon, PA. This 13-week contract position offers a chance to provide essential pharmacy services in a hospital setting with a dynamic healthcare team. The role involves working 40 hours per week on a variable schedule between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., including every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An ASAP start is preferred to meet the facility’s immediate needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and adjustments
• Handle pharmacokinetics calculations and monitoring for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication distribution and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience essential
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Exposure to chemotherapy preparation and protocols is highly desirable
