Pharmacist | Hartford, Connecticut

An urgent opening is available for a Pharmacist role at a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (LTC/IDD) pharmacy serving the Hartford, CT area. This immediate-start contract position offers full-time hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with some flexibility at either start or end times during this window. The assignment is expected to last approximately four weeks.

Responsibilities include primarily performing PV2 duties such as checking and verifying prescriptions. Training for PV1 responsibilities will be provided for candidates demonstrating the necessary aptitude. The pharmacy utilizes the Frameworks system platform, and the role requires efficiently managing a high volume of prescriptions to support facility needs. Prior LTC experience is preferred to facilitate a smoother transition; however, retail pharmacists with the capacity to quickly adapt and push through volume are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut pharmacist license is required.
• Experience with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy preferred.
• Ability to work 8 AM to 6 PM shifts with some schedule flexibility.
• Comfortable using the Frameworks pharmacy system.
• Strong attention to detail in prescription verification and dispensing processes.
