An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacist in a long-term care (LTC) and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) pharmacy setting located in Hartford, CT. This contract position is set to begin as soon as possible and will run for approximately four weeks. The shift requires availability from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to start or end within these hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV2 duties including checking and verifying prescriptions.
  • Receive training for PV1 tasks if aptitude is demonstrated.
  • Manage high prescription volume efficiently using the Frameworks system.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and maintain patient safety standards.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current valid Connecticut pharmacist license (required).
  • Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred.
  • Retail pharmacy experience considered if able to handle high volume.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy verification processes and systems.

Location:

  • Hartford, Connecticut (Rocky Hill site).

Schedule:

  • Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility required.
