Specializing in non-sterile medications primarily for animal patients—including equine prescriptions—this closed-door pharmacy processes over 200 prescriptions daily. The role offers an immediate start for a motivated individual ready to support a smooth transition following 11/5, with a temp-to-hire employment arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of 3–4 pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient daily workflow
• Verify prescriptions and review established formulations for accuracy and consistency
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, compounding procedures, and quality standards
• Assist with inventory management and optimize workflow efficiency
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama Pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in non-sterile compounding
• Ability to manage and supervise technicians while overseeing daily operations
