This pharmacy ships over 200 prescriptions daily and supports a collaborative environment where pharmacists oversee technicians and contribute to maintaining high-quality compounding and service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a pharmacy team of 3–4 technicians
• Verify prescriptions and manage daily workflow efficiently
• Review and ensure accuracy and consistency of established formulations
• Maintain compliance with compounding procedures, quality standards, and pharmacy regulations
• Support inventory management and enhance workflow processes
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities within a collaborative team setting

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama Pharmacist license (required)
• Strong experience in non-sterile compounding
• Proven ability to supervise technicians and manage workflow effectively
• Detail-oriented and adaptable with a willingness to learn
• Excellent work ethic and team collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

• Veterinary, animal, or equine compounding background
• Experience working in a high-volume compounding pharmacy
• Familiarity with Pharmetica software (training available for those without experience)
