An opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist to support a 300-bed hospital in Southeast Alabama. This role offers an engaging environment managing critical pharmacy operations overnight, ensuring quality patient care and medication safety. The assignment begins ASAP, with a 13-week contract that may extend to temp-to-hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies and patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations during night shifts

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Alabama
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work night shift schedule consistently

Schedule:

• 7 consecutive nights on, followed by 7 nights off
• Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
