Per Diem Pharmacist | Helena, Alabama

This opportunity is for a pharmacist to support an independent retail pharmacy environment operating with a small, dedicated staff including one to two pharmacy technicians and a cashier. The pharmacy fills an average of 180 to 200 prescriptions daily, using Quick Script for order entry. The role involves providing professional pharmacy services primarily during daytime hours.

Location: Helena, AL
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Shift hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Working 1 to 2 days per week on a per diem basis
• Ongoing opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispensing medications and verifying prescriptions
• Counseling patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Collaborating with staff to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Managing order entry and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience required; new graduates will be considered
• Retail pharmacy background preferred
• Active Alabama pharmacy license
