Per Diem Pharmacist | Helena, Alabama

This opportunity is for an experienced pharmacist seeking a per diem position within an independent retail pharmacy setting. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, this role requires commitment to working 1 to 2 days weekly on an ongoing basis. As the only pharmacist on staff, you will collaborate closely with 1 to 2 pharmacy technicians and a cashier to efficiently manage an average daily prescription volume of 180 to 200.

Responsibilities include accurate order entry using Quick Script, thorough patient counseling, verifying prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. The pharmacist is expected to exercise professional judgment independently and support the pharmacy's daily operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Alabama pharmacy license
• Pharmacy experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
