Per Diem Pharmacist - Helena, AL

Location:

• Helena, Alabama

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1 to 2 days per week on an ongoing basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage
• Manage prescription orders utilizing Quick Script order entry system
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and cashier to ensure smooth operational flow
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements in an independent retail pharmacy setting
• Provide excellent customer service in a high-volume environment averaging 180 to 200 prescriptions daily

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Alabama pharmacy license is required
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy best practices and patient counseling
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
