Support a specialized pharmacy operation as a PRN Staff Pharmacist, providing essential coverage during scheduled absences within a compassionate hospice and palliative care setting. This role offers day-shift hours on an as-needed basis, primarily assisting the Pharmacy in Charge (PIC) during vacation and planned time away through the remainder of 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable PRN coverage to support PIC during vacation and absences
• Deliver pharmaceutical care to a specialty infusion and hospice/palliative care patient population
• Participate in a mandatory training day before assuming coverage to ensure seamless operation
• Work within a small, dedicated pharmacy team, maintaining compassionate patient care

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
• Strong preference for experience in specialty or infusion pharmacy
• Hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience highly valued
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team setting
• Demonstrated compassion and patient-centered approach, especially in hospice care
• Local to the San Antonio area with flexibility to provide PRN coverage as required
• Commitment to attend a training day before beginning coverage
