Providing critical pharmacy support for a specialized patient population, this PRN Staff Pharmacist role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to hospice and palliative care within a focused pharmacy setting. This position is based in San Antonio, Texas, and involves coverage and standby duties supporting the Pharmacist in Charge during their planned absences through the remainder of 2026.

Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift hours (specific times to be determined based on pharmacy schedule)
- PRN basis for coverage and standby
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmacy coverage during PIC vacations and planned time away
- Support a new, low-volume pharmacy operation specializing in specialty infusion and hospice/palliative care patients
- Participate in a training day prior to first coverage shift to ensure seamless integration and understanding of patient care protocols
- Collaborate within a small pharmacy team to deliver compassionate, patient-focused service
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
- Strong preference for candidates with specialty pharmacy or infusion pharmacy experience
- Hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience is a significant plus
- Ability to work effectively within a small team environment
- Reliable availability on a PRN basis through the end of 2026
- Local to San Antonio with no travel accommodations required
