Support specialty infusion and hospice care patients as a PRN Staff Pharmacist providing coverage and standby assistance in a new pharmacy operation located in San Antonio, Texas. This role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care within a small, dedicated team supporting the Pharmacy-in-Charge during planned absences. Your expertise will help ensure seamless pharmacy services to a vulnerable hospice and palliative care population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide PRN coverage during vacations and planned time away for the Pharmacy-in-Charge
• Work day shift hours with schedules coordinated based on pharmacy needs
• Participate in a training day prior to the first coverage shift to ensure smooth integration
• Support specialty infusion and hospice/palliative care patient populations in medication preparation, dispensing, and counseling
• Collaborate closely with a small team to maintain compliance and high-quality pharmacy services

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or infusion pharmacy strongly preferred
• Hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience is a plus
• Demonstrated compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work reliably on an as-needed PRN basis through the remainder of 2026
• Comfortable working within a small pharmacy team environment
• Local to San Antonio; no travel accommodations needed
