A well-supported Independent Retail pharmacy in Hempstead, NY is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to cover shifts on October 1st, 2nd, and 5th. Location: Hempstead, NY
Schedule:

• October 1, 2, and 5
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
• Arrive by 10:45 AM and stay until 7:15 PM for smooth closing procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all independent retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff, including bilingual technicians, to maintain high-quality service
• Facilitate a smooth handoff and closing transition each day

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Active NPI number
• Immunization certification preferred
• Proven experience in community or retail pharmacy
• Familiarity with PioneerRx Pharmacy System is strongly preferred
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not required due to bilingual technician support

This assignment offers a low-stress work environment with an average of approximately 300 prescriptions filled per week. The pharmacist will receive excellent operational support from the pharmacy owner and an experienced bilingual technician who assists with Spanish translation as needed.

A $250 completion bonus is available upon successful fulfillment of all three shifts.
