Per Diem Pharmacist in Hempstead, NY

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment on a per diem basis. The position involves working select weekday day shifts, with the initial dates of October 1, 2, and 5, followed by additional dates as needed. The schedule for these shifts is from 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Responsibilities include order entry using the PioneerRx system, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential in this role.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Community or retail pharmacy experience is required
• Immunization certification preferred
• Strong preference for candidates experienced with PioneerRx
• Spanish fluency is a plus, though primary translation assistance is provided by pharmacy technicians
