Per Diem Pharmacist - Hendersonville, North Carolina

An established independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work consistently with a guaranteed two shifts per week, including a fixed Friday schedule, with the potential for permanent placement in the future.

Location:

• Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule:

• Two shifts per week guaranteed
• Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (fixed)
• One additional weekday shift (Monday through Thursday) mutually agreed upon and consistent moving forward

Responsibilities:

• Perform all retail pharmacist duties including dispensing medications accurately and safely
• Provide counseling and education to patients regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Manage inventory and ensure proper documentation

Qualifications:

• Current and valid North Carolina Pharmacist license
• Prior experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
