An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical services at a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment where clinical expertise and teamwork are highly valued.

Location: Lebanon, PA
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks +)
Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify medication orders to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain efficient operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses on medication management and patient care
• Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring for optimal therapeutic outcomes
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication dispensing and documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania with current credentials
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience with knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice
• Proficient with EPIC electronic health record and Pyxis automated dispensing system
• Exposure to chemotherapy handling and protocols is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
