Pharmacist in Hershey, PA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist ready to contribute expertise in a community hospital setting. This role is based in Lebanon, PA, at a 160-bed community hospital, offering a dynamic environment that values precision, collaboration, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses on medication therapies, and engaging in pharmacokinetics analysis to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Familiarity with IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis will be vital for daily operations.

This contract position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with shifts every third or fourth Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The assignment is set for 13 weeks with an ASAP start, providing an excellent opportunity to apply your skills immediately in a hospital setting.

Desired qualifications and experience include:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Exposure to chemotherapy protocols is strongly preferred
