A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment to apply hospital pharmacy expertise. This 13-week contract begins ASAP, providing 40 hours per week with shifts scheduled between 6 AM and 7 PM, including every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff for optimal patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge to support medication management
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Support chemotherapy handling as needed, enhancing patient treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience essential
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
• Exposure to chemotherapy protocols is a significant advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a clinical environment
