A growing compounding pharmacy affiliate is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacist coverage and support for the launch of sterile compounding services. This role is based in Doral, FL, within a dynamic and expanding pharmacy focused on specialized therapies including GLP-1 medications and hormone replacement therapies predominantly for females.

Location: Doral, FL (coverage also required in Miami/Doral area)
Position Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred, with coverage beginning 9/23 and additional shifts in October
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws through thorough oversight
  • Support operational workflows during the launch phase of sterile compounding services
  • Review and enhance pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards to maintain excellence
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to optimize pharmaceutical services
  • Provide pharmacist coverage as required during operational hours, ensuring smooth daily functions

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License (required)
  • Experience with compounding pharmacy operations, ideally both non-sterile and sterile (preferred)
  • Background working in pharmacy startups is a strong plus
  • Retail pharmacy experience will be considered
  • Willingness to learn and train on compounding techniques if necessary
