Pharmacist - Hialeah, FL

An inpatient pharmacist role is available at a leading children’s hospital located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Hollywood, FL. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks starting 8/25 and offers two distinct shifts: a 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM shift with rotating weekends, and an overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM also with rotating weekends. Both schedules consist of five 8-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

• Performing typical inpatient pharmacy duties with a specialized focus on pediatric dosing.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and safe medication administration.
• Utilizing the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document and verify medication orders.
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and state pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
• Previous experience in pediatric and NICU pharmacy preferred; candidates should clearly demonstrate this experience on their resumes.
• Proficiency in inpatient pharmacy workflow and pediatric medication management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment with rotating weekend shifts.
