Pharmacist - High Point, North Carolina

A compounding pharmacist position is available on a contract-to-hire basis, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic pharmacy with a focus on personalized patient care. This role involves preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications while working closely with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care to individual patient needs
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions following USP 795, 797, and 800 standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy inventory
• Offer expert pharmaceutical advice to patients for optimal health outcomes
• Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technicians

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license in North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
• Experience with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Familiarity with pharmacy software (training on PK system similar to QS1 will be provided)

• Based in High Point, NC, with the pharmacy located in the Greensboro area
