Pharmacist in High Point, NC

An experienced Infusion Pharmacist is needed to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This contract role involves working 3-5 days per week with immediate start and the possibility of long-term placement or permanent hire. The position requires expertise in home infusion and sterile compounding within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specifically for infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications adhering to safety and quality standards
• Ensure strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> guidelines for sterile compounding
• Provide clinical support and drug information to healthcare staff and patients
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and uphold patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory and quality assurance requirements

Qualifications:

• Active and valid North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong background in sterile compounding procedures and safety standards
• In-depth knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines for sterile compounding environments
• Ability to work independently with flexibility and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
