Pharmacist | Hinton, Iowa

A hospital pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment starting as soon as possible. This role operates on a consistent 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule, working 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, for a duration of approximately 13 weeks or more. The assignment is based in Hinton, IA.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, managing pharmacokinetics, and consulting with physicians and nurses. The pharmacist will provide services across all pharmacy units, with experience in critical care unit (CCU) patient care considered beneficial. Proficiency in hospital IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis is required.

Qualifications:

• Current Iowa pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one promptly
• Relevant hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with CCU patient care preferred
• Competency with EPIC and Pyxis systems
