Per Diem Pharmacist in Hixson, TN

An independent compounding pharmacy in Hixson, TN, is seeking a Per Diem pharmacist to provide vacation coverage from May 27-29, with ongoing opportunities available. This role involves working with a high-volume compounding environment, processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily.

Location: Hixson, TN (Chattanooga area)
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Lunch break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Closed on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of five pharmacy technicians who manage data entry, prescription filling, and customer communications
• Address and resolve any questions or issues that arise during the workflow
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department, which ships three different formulations of post-cataract surgery eye drops

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of Tennessee in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Preferred experience with mail order pharmacy operations, though not required
