Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and communicate pharmacy and company strategies effectively.
- Oversee prescription accuracy and appropriateness by performing thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Manage pharmacy profitability by promoting script growth, clinical programs such as immunizations, and Medication Therapy Management when available.
- Partner with District Manager to control inventory, track sales, and order pharma stock to meet demand and maximize profit.
- Align and monitor performance objectives based on key pharmacy metrics to drive operational effectiveness.
- Deliver exemplary customer service through counseling on healthcare and medication concerns.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organization.
- Resolve customer complaints, collaborate with physicians, and utilize reference materials to address prescription issues.
- Oversee routine pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy law/regulations.
