Pharmacist position available on a per diem basis to support an important community health program focused on HIV/AIDS care. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized pharmacy services with a focus on empathy, respect, and patient trust within a supportive environment.
Location: Hollywood, FL (also opportunities for per diem work at nearby pharmacy locations in the area)
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- No weekend shifts required
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, with a specialty focus on HIV/AIDS treatment
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with a sensitive patient population
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members to optimize patient care
- Demonstrate proactive pharmacy intuition by anticipating and addressing pharmacy needs as they arise
- Uphold high standards for patient support and communication in a respectful, non-judgmental manner
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience, specifically with HIV/AIDS drug dispensing
- Proven sensitivity and empathy toward patients living with HIV/AIDS, ensuring compassionate care
- Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software or similar technology
- Valid Florida pharmacist license
- Updated resume clearly highlighting HIV/AIDS pharmacy experience
