Pharmacist - Hollywood, FL

A children’s hospital located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting August 25. One position covers the 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. shift with rotating weekends, and the other covers the overnight 11 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. shift with rotating weekends (both are five 8-hour shifts per week).

This role requires pharmacists who are highly skilled in inpatient pharmacy practice, with a strong preference for candidates who have prior pediatric and NICU experience. The ideal candidate’s resume should clearly reflect such specialized experience.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications and provide accurate pediatric dosing for inpatient pediatric patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for order entry and documentation
• Maintain compliance with hospital and state pharmacy regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Demonstrated inpatient pharmacy experience, ideally in pediatrics or NICU settings
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including rotating weekends
