A leading children’s hospital in Hollywood, FL, situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract assignment starting on August 25th. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with pediatric and NICU experience who are looking to apply their specialized skills in a dynamic hospital environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Hollywood, FL
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, beginning August 25th
• Shifts Available: • One position: 12:30 PM to 9 PM, rotating weekends, 5 days of 8-hour shifts per week • One position: Overnight shift from 11 PM to 7:15 AM, rotating weekends, 5 days of 8-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on pediatric care
• Perform accurate pediatric dosing and medication preparation
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for patient documentation and medication orders
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal pharmacological care for patients

Qualifications:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Significant experience or demonstrated knowledge in pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) pharmacy practice is highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR system is beneficial
• Ability to manage typical inpatient pharmacy duties with a focus on safety and accuracy
