A traveling pharmacist role is available in Honolulu, HI, for a dynamic individual ready to deliver top-quality clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This 16-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant healthcare environment with a mix of day and evening shifts, providing a comprehensive and engaging work schedule.

Schedule:

• Rotates between day shifts and evening swings
• Day shifts: Five 8-hour shifts per week (0630-1500 or 0830-1700)
• Evening shifts: Four 10-hour shifts per week (1100-2130 or 1230-2300)
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with medical teams during rounds, monitoring and adjusting patient drug therapies, performing pharmacokinetic dosing, and providing patient counseling and education. Experience with unit dose and IV services is highly valued, ensuring comprehensive pharmaceutical care.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years as a Clinical Hospital Pharmacist
• Experience in multidisciplinary rounding, drug therapy monitoring, and patient education
• Familiarity with unit dose and IV medication services preferred
• Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Pharmacist
• PharmD degree preferred
• Post-graduate ASHP-accredited clinical residency favored
