This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position based in Hood River, OR, scheduled for four 10-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Designed as a contract role lasting at least 13 weeks, the position offers a dynamic work environment supporting patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy.
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to provide expert pharmaceutical advice.
• Utilize healthcare technologies such as EPIC and Pyxis to manage medication records and inventory efficiently.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacist license.
• Experience with order verification and pharmacokinetics preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems.
• Strong communication skills for collaborative healthcare.
