A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Northern California, specifically in Hoopa, CA, to provide coverage during vacation periods. This role is ideal for both experienced professionals and new graduates looking to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Week of 6/22: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Week of 6/29: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Location:
- Hoopa, CA
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide medication counseling to customers
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and customers to optimize medication therapy
- Provide excellent customer service and handle patient inquiries
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in California
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
