An opportunity is available for an Overnight Compounding Pharmacist to support a rapidly growing pharmacy in Stafford, Texas. This position involves working the third shift from 9:00pm to 5:00am, Monday through Friday, in a high-volume compounding environment with a focus on GLP-1 and weight loss medications.

Responsibilities include preparing customized medications following prescriptions and compounding standards, maintaining accurate records of formulations and inventory, and collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow. Effective communication with patients and healthcare providers is essential, as is staying current with pharmaceutical trends and compounding techniques.

• Location: Stafford, Texas (near Houston)
• Schedule: 3rd shift, 9:00pm – 5:00am, Monday – Friday
• Pharmacy software: LifeFile, PK Software
• Script volume: increased from approximately 6,000 to 22,000 prescriptions daily, reflecting a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Contract type: 13-week temp-to-perm assignment

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year sterile compounding experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume compounding pharmacy
