A dynamic opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a large, busy hospital within the Texas Medical Center. This facility serves over 500 beds, providing a fast-paced and rewarding environment for a skilled pharmacy professional. The position is on a contract basis with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule:

• 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient medication management.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Utilize EPIC system for medication orders and documentation (preferred).

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license.
• Texas IV Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Experience working with EPIC electronic health records preferred.
