Per Diem Pharmacist | Houston, Texas

A healthcare delivery pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking experienced Per Diem Pharmacists to support their expanding operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Utilize the Pioneer Rx system for prescription processing
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and other staff
• Provide patient counseling and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Assist with inventory management and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Prior experience in pharmacy dispensing, preferably in closed-door or delivery settings
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy software
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently
• Availability for per diem scheduling, including occasional Fridays

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible per diem shifts as needed
• Immediate coverage needed for Friday, January 30th, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Ongoing need for additional per diem pharmacists to meet regular staffing demands
