Per Diem Pharmacist - Houston, Texas

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Pharmacist with per diem availability in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on accurate medication dispensing and delivering safe, efficient pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager. Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and deliver pharmaceutical care ensuring patient safety.
• Counsel and advise patients on proper use of medications and adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain inventory records, including controlled substances, and ensure proper stock levels.
• Clarify insurance coverage issues and resolve problems related to third-party payers.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail or 340B pharmacy setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient counseling.
