Per Diem Pharmacist - Huntersville, NC

A pharmacy located in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide ongoing PTO coverage on an as-needed basis. The immediate coverage opportunity begins on August 8, 2026, with shifts running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This position offers flexibility for pharmacists interested in PRN work and supporting pharmacy operations during periods of staff absences.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness in compliance with regulations
• Provide light patient counseling, with a focus on blood pressure medication guidance
• Support pharmacy workflow to maintain safe and efficient operations during the shift

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing for the state of North Carolina
• Experience verifying and dispensing prescriptions with attention to detail
• Comfortable and confident in counseling patients, especially regarding blood pressure therapies
• Dependable and professional with availability for future PRN coverage as needed
