Pharmacist - Hyannis, Massachusetts

Join a dynamic outpatient/retail pharmacy team connected to a hospital setting in a beautiful island location. This contract opportunity offers approximately 13 weeks of consistent day shifts, providing essential coverage for a pharmacist vacancy. You will work five 8-hour shifts per week, supporting smooth pharmacy operations using McKesson EnterpriseRX—a key system for this role.

Location: Nantucket, MA (access via ferry)
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts, 5 days a week (8-hour shifts)
  Contract duration: Approximately 13 weeks
  Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in a fast-paced outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRX system efficiently to manage prescriptions and inventory
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital protocols
• Provide excellent patient counseling and support
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with McKesson EnterpriseRX strongly desired
• Full-time availability for duration of assignment
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

• Travel required to reach Nantucket via ferry
• Housing provided in hospital apartment; however, due to a severe local housing shortage, shared accommodations with other travelers may be necessary
