Pharmacist - Hyannis, Massachusetts

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide essential outpatient and retail pharmacy services at a hospital-affiliated pharmacy on Nantucket, MA. This contract position offers a chance to work in a unique island community while utilizing your skills in a fast-paced setting.

Location: Nantucket, MA
Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week
Duration: Approximately 13 weeks, with an ASAP start
Work Setting: Outpatient/Retail pharmacy attached to a hospital

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper medication use
• Manage medication inventories and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRX pharmacy system to process prescriptions and manage workflow

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with McKesson EnterpriseRX system highly preferred
• Full-time availability during the assignment period
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
