Pharmacist in Charge in Anderson, CA

Lead a community pharmacy as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) managing daily operations, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers. This role requires a professional to promptly step into a full-time position overseeing pharmacy activities to ensure smooth workflow and regulatory compliance. The position starts as soon as possible with a contract duration of approximately 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent candidate is secured.

Location: Anderson, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assume PIC responsibilities for a community center pharmacy.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate directly with center providers to optimize patient care.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and guidelines.
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system (training provided if needed).

Desired Experience:

• Recent experience in retail pharmacy settings.
• Ability to manage and lead pharmacy staff effectively.
• Familiarity with pharmacy technology and systems, with a willingness to learn New Leaf.
