A community-focused pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to serve in an interim leadership role. This full-time contract position begins promptly and will continue for approximately 6 to 8 weeks, or until a permanent placement is secured. The role provides an opportunity to oversee operations at a community center pharmacy while collaborating closely with clinical staff.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing daily pharmacy operations.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers at the community center.
  • Uphold compliance with regulatory standards and best pharmacy practices.

Desired Experience:

  • Recent retail pharmacy experience required.
  • Ability to provide leadership in a community-centered pharmacy environment.
  • Familiarity with the New Leaf pharmacy system is beneficial; training will be provided.
