This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmacy operations in a community center setting. You will assume a critical leadership role managing day-to-day functions, ensuring compliance, and supporting both staff and healthcare providers in delivering excellent pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) of a community center pharmacy
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers within the center to optimize patient care
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain pharmacy standards
  • Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system; training will be provided

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Recent retail pharmacy experience is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage pharmacy staff effectively
  • Comfortable working independently in a supervisory capacity
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new pharmacy systems

Schedule:

  • Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location:

  • Anderson, CA

This contract role begins as soon as possible with a start date of June 29th and is expected to last approximately 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured. Strong pharmacy technician support will be available to assist you in delivering outstanding service.
