An immediate opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to lead operations at a community center pharmacy. This full-time, contract position begins mid to late next week with a start date for full responsibilities on June 29. The assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks or until a permanent replacement is secured.

Location:

  • Anderson, CA

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, providing leadership and oversight for the community center pharmacy.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers at the center to coordinate patient care and medication management.
  • Manage pharmacy functions in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recent retail pharmacy experience is required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with New Leaf pharmacy system preferred; training will be provided.
