A Tennessee Licensed Pharmacist is needed to serve as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a healthcare-at-home/mail-order pharmacy operation. This primarily remote role focuses on licensing, compliance, and regulatory support with minimal onsite duties, ideal for a pharmacist seeking a low-time-commitment position with guaranteed full-time compensation.
Location: Remote within Tennessee
Onsite Visits: Quarterly inspections in the Nashville area (1 hour each, totaling approximately 4 hours per year)
Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed, actual work expected to be far less
Contract Duration: 13+ weeks
Start Date: ASAP, targeting late October
Responsibilities:
- Act as the designated Tennessee Pharmacist In Charge supporting an out-of-state mail-order pharmacy license
- Complete initial and renewal PIC documentation and Board of Pharmacy filings
- Conduct quarterly on-site compliance inspections at a Nashville-area location
- Review patient records to ensure annual prescription renewals for portable oxygen
- Inspect physical sites for proper storage of oxygen tanks and compliance materials
- Verify hours of operation and required licenses are properly posted and current
- Complete inspection checklists and report items requiring follow-up
- Assist with additional regulatory or compliance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
- Current resident of Tennessee
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacist experience preferred (less experience may be considered)
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Comfortable managing PIC responsibilities and regulatory documentation
- Ability to travel locally for quarterly inspections
