A part-time Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment in Arlington, Texas, starting ASAP. This role involves managing prescription verifications and handling inbound communications from patients and healthcare providers concerning medications. The pharmacy operates with a high prescription volume, processing approximately 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily, utilizing DRx pharmacy software.

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st shift available
• Flexible scheduling options including day or mid shifts
• Approximately 20-24 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to meet high-volume demands
• Respond to inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medication-related inquiries
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies as the Pharmacist in Charge
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain quality service standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacist license applicable to the location
• Experience with high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy settings preferred
• Familiarity with DRx pharmacy software advantageous
