Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a mail order medical equipment environment in Arroyo Grande, CA, for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks. This per diem role requires a licensed California pharmacist to provide oversight and ensure compliance until the permanent PIC obtains their California license. The position offers a flexible work arrangement with the possibility to work remotely; however, proximity to the facility is necessary in case onsite presence is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill PIC duties by overseeing pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with state regulations.
- Act as the responsible pharmacist for all regulatory requirements during the assignment period.
- Provide support and guidance related to pharmacy processes in the mail order medical equipment setting.
- Remain accessible for onsite visits as needed to ensure smooth pharmacy function.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Pharmacist license is mandatory.
- Proven experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting while being locally available.
- Strong knowledge of California pharmacy laws and regulations.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday day shifts.
- Guaranteed minimum of 11 hours per week.
- Predominantly remote work with local availability for onsite needs.
