Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Asbury Park, New Jersey

This direct hire position offers an opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to lead daily retail pharmacy operations in a dynamic environment. The role is based in Asbury Park, NJ, and follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy
• Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license
• Minimum of two years retail pharmacy management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Proactive in recommending alternative solutions and process improvements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Skilled in gathering, analyzing information, and exercising sound judgment

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide pharmacy staff in medication filling and dispensing processes
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery
• Maintain strict compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Ensure adherence to quality standards set forth by the pharmacy and New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
• Foster a customer-focused atmosphere with excellent service orientation
• Apply in-depth knowledge and leadership within the specialty infusion pharmacy sector

Compensation ranges from $135,000 to $145,000 annually.
