An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee regulatory, compliance, and quality functions at their Ohio facility. This onsite role offers a direct hire opportunity with the potential for temp-to-perm arrangements, particularly for candidates open to relocation. The position provides long-term stability, leadership growth, and active involvement in high-level regulatory activities.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as PIC for Ohio and other applicable state licenses
- Ensure full compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations
- Maintain licensure for pharmacists and the facility across multiple states
- Lead inspections and represent the facility during regulatory audits and meetings
- Develop and update SOPs and training programs
- Oversee regulatory reporting, complaint handling, recalls, and quality investigations
- Manage QA/QC processes including batch review, deviation investigations, and environmental monitoring
- Lead validation efforts for equipment, systems, and processes
- Implement and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Approve change controls, product labeling, and conduct annual product reviews
- Manage vendor qualification, incoming materials, and reserve sample procedures
- Analyze quality metrics and present findings to leadership
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Minimum 5 years in leadership roles managing teams
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA/DEA regulations, sterile injectable and non-sterile compounding
- Experience with multi-state licensure preferred
- Proven track record leading regulatory inspections and audits
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries
- 7+ years in quality or compliance with progressive responsibility
