An established compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead regulatory, compliance, and quality operations at its facility in Ohio. This onsite position offers long-term stability, leadership exposure, and growth potential within a nationally recognized organization. Candidates willing to relocate may receive relocation assistance, and a temp-to-perm traveler option can be considered for the right fit.

- Onsite in Albany, Ohio
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and additional non-resident state licenses as needed
- Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations
- Maintain pharmacist and facility licensure across multiple states
- Lead inspections and represent the facility during regulatory meetings with the Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA
- Develop, review, and maintain SOPs and training programs
- Oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, complaints, and quality investigations
- Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams
- Manage QA/QC functions including batch record review, deviations, investigations, and environmental monitoring
- Lead validation activities related to equipment, systems, and processes
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Review and approve change controls, product labeling, and annual product reviews
- Oversee incoming materials, vendor qualification, and reserve sampling
- Develop environmental monitoring programs, trending, and root cause analysis
- Present quality metrics to site and corporate leadership
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience with licensure in multiple states preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding
- Proven experience leading inspections and regulatory audits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills for presenting complex information Preferred:
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- 7+ years in quality or compliance roles with increasing responsibility
