An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead regulatory compliance and quality operations at its Ohio site. This onsite leadership role offers long-term career stability and growth opportunities within a nationally recognized organization. The position supports relocation assistance and may also consider a temporary-to-permanent arrangement for candidates open to travel or relocation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Pharmacist-in-Charge overseeing Ohio licensure and additional non-resident state licenses as required
- Ensure facility compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations
- Lead and prepare for Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA inspections and regulatory meetings
- Maintain and update SOPs, training programs, regulatory reporting, recalls, and complaint investigations
- Oversee QA/QC processes including batch record review, deviations, investigations, environmental monitoring, and validation activities
- Manage Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and maintain change controls, product labeling, and annual product reviews
- Supervise vendor qualification, incoming material checks, and reserve sample programs
- Analyze and report quality metrics to site and corporate leadership
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in pharmacy or pharmaceutical operations
- Knowledgeable in cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding
- Proven experience leading regulatory inspections and audits
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Multi-state licensure and 10+ years in pharma, biotech, or medical device industries preferred
