Leading the pharmacy as Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) in a specialty practice focused on HIV/AIDS medications presents a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership in an innovative setting. This role demands a strong foundation in HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy and proven experience managing retail or specialty pharmacy operations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations in compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Work as a clinical pharmacist dedicated to advancing pharmacy services through innovative systems and processes that enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and team members to develop and share clinical service ideas, training, and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment with pharmacy core values and mission, fostering a nimble and adaptive work environment.
  • Lead a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
  • Contribute to consistent application of policies, procedures, and processes across multiple locations.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, including conferences and training sessions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience, with 10+ years highly preferred.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications; willingness to advance expertise through training.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
  • Comfortable managing a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience exclusively in hospital pharmacy is not desired.
