Pharmacist in Charge - Brandon, FL

A well-established, high-volume retail and mail-order pharmacy in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking a part-time Pharmacist in Charge for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. This role is ideal for a pharmacist licensed in both Florida and California who is looking to work approximately 20-24 hours per week, primarily on the first shift with flexible scheduling options.

Location: Clearwater, Florida

Schedule:

• 1st shift preferred
• Flexible to accommodate days or mid-shift hours

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently within a daily script volume of 1,000 to 1,500
• Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medications
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain high-quality patient care standards
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support daily operations using DRx software

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist licenses in both Florida and California are required
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a pharmacist
• Strong communication skills to effectively manage patient and physician inquiries
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
