Pharmacist in Charge - Brandon, FL

A high-volume retail and mail-order pharmacy is seeking a part-time Pharmacist in Charge to join their team in Clearwater, Florida. This contract role offers a flexible schedule with shifts primarily in the first shift, accommodating day or mid-shift availability. The assignment is for approximately 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible, with an expected workload of 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions per day. The pharmacy uses DRx software for its operations.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medications
• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations during assigned shifts

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Pharmacist licenses in Florida and California
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist
• Experience with DRx software preferred
